Payne learns about Iraq's Abu Ghraib

Payne watched television and noticed a program about Abu Ghraib. She found a cat's bladder and traveled over to Iraq. She observed in fine detail the methods soldiers used in making terrorists submit and confess their crimes.
Payne rushed back to Megiddoho where she summoned her boyfriend, Hawk. Payne showed Hawk the techniques of what it takes to tame 'mean people'. She used whips, water, chains and a lion. She yelled and screamed and put Hawk in many
'compromising' positions. Unfortunately, even though he surrendered each time, Hawk could not understand what was so bad about it...

Hi, I'm Payne, I hitched a ride through the bladder of some cat, that's the real reason cats exist, to move beings like me around. I'm from Megiddo-ho, a suburb just left of Shambala inside the inner earth. It's becoming a lousy place to live now, hot as Hell because you people on the outter crust have shitty habits, you suck. The heat is getting intense down there, the core is rumbling, the poles are melting and flooding our villages so a few of us "inner corians" were sent around the world to see where we should surface. We can't stay down there too much longer, Megiddo-ho is gonna spew. So when the moon got good and full, I hailed a bladder and ended up in this place. We have to go where the cat goes and the next thing I knew, I was lying in a wet catbox in Sanford.
The people who own the place don't know I'm here, I hide, I can do that being small and my shape is not of outter earth people, I'm acorn size. I 'borrowed' things I found around the house to have a body and face to use. On the outter earth you sure are obsessed by looks.
I spent the first few days watching the big box, cable I think, I studied the commercials while drinking your spirits, I love White Russians! You humans know how to use the grains!
I decided to learn about this upper crust place by watching serious news programs and find out who I need to appeal to to save the planet. I can see that some people are on television and look important. One man's face was all over the wide screen, his name was Senator Larry Craig, he was downright bold, he looked like a hero when saying he wasn't going to step down, that sounded like someone of authority to me! I hopped on my Gargoyle which is our computer version of Google only better, and got the phone number for the man Mr. Craig. After reading his bio, I called him and told him I was from Idaho, (well, if I said I was from Megiddo-ho he would brush me off, believe me, we inner corians know how you USA people feel about illegals!) So what if I lied? Like you never lied...I told him I was new in town and needed to see how the politics work around here. I told him I needed a tour, to see places that are important around town. He agreed, told me tomorrow he would show me the best of Washington D.C. -- so tomorrow, I will find a cat's spirit bladder and be on my way to Washington. It's not as bad as it sounds,
in only a matter of seconds, 'urine' another place...

The Arrival -- The Night of The Hunters Moon 10/25/07

This satellite we call the moon, though 238,000 miles away is responsible for the tug of gravity upon the earth and tides. As that wedge of white gets fuller and fuller, so does the grip of lunacy.
Tonight a devils wind swept thick clouds raced across the Hunter's moon.
LIGHTNING FORKED -- THUNDER STRUCK!
And I could make out the form of a cat with something upon it's back. Something that had another apple body, but this head was different, it had piercings, and skeptical eyes, and looked nothing like sweet and juicy Abbe Apple, but more like a tart! She held the head of Apple Abbe in her grip briefly and POOF, Apple Abbe vanished!
There stood 'Payne', the hellion pundit born of full gravity and imagination and a big, sassy mouth. Once the metamorphosis took place, the world will never be the same. She's loose among us now, what will she do?

The possession 10/20/07

The idea began as a request as part of a Photography class assignment, take a photo of an apple. That was it, simple yet complex, quiet yet loud, and I saw red!
Here it began, apple abbe, the green haired, part doll, part apple, she arose Saturday morning child of rain and thunder. Her first test was to stand up to the cranes for a photo op - she took it grandly as they ate around her not bothered in the least by her presense. It started so simply, a fun picture for others to 'aw'
over in class, or so I thought...
